Dr. Rossano is the Chief of Cardiology and Co-Director of the Cardiac Center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and holds the Jennifer Terker Endowed Chair in Pediatric Cardiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He attended medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Seattle Children’s Hospital for his pediatric residency. He moved to Houston for pediatric cardiology fellowship training and there underwent additional fellowship training in cardiac intensive care and heart failure / transplantation. While on the faculty of Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s hospital he obtained Master of Science degree in clinical research. He has clinical and research interests are in improving outcomes for children with cardiomyopathy, heart failure, and heart transplantation.
